Her work explores the cost, differential reach, and impact of digital innovations on development and health outcomes. Dr. LeFevre leads multidisciplinary research teams to working to generate robust, timely evidence to inform the design and impact of large scale digital solutions.
Dr. Mohan is a public health physician and health systems epidemiologist with over two decades of experience working across Asia and Africa on the evaluation of digital innovations for development. Dr. Ummer is a public health researcher with a special focus on health system research including community health workers, gender, and digital health. He brings over a decade of experience supporting evidence generation on the reach and impact of digital solutions, including maternal messaging programs in India (Kilkari), mLearning programs (Mobile Academy), and the end-to-end digitization of comprehensive primary healthcare in India. Prior to his work with UCT, Dr. Ummer has held positions working for BBC Media Action, OPM-India, and WHO-India. He is also a doctoral candidate at the school of public health, University of Cape Town.
